Michael Katon is the Chef/Owner of Katon's Kitchen & All Events Catering Company located in Rusk, TX. Michael has over 20 years experience in the BBQ industry. He is a Texas Native who started his training in the Culinary BBQ in Alto, Texas. There he learned from the best starting out using a smoked box pit utilizing red oak, hickory and pecan logs for flavor. From there he put that knowledge to work in Arizona working at Phoenix' "First Fridays" and "Phoenix International Raceway" earning rave reviews by all who tasted his BBQ. His work in culinary BBQ art is a testament to his numerous capabilities. He has worn many hats throughout his career and currently as a Catering Chef/ Owner. Over the years Michael has mastered the art of BBQ & catering. It was his passion to one day open what is now Katon's Kitchen, All Events Catering Company. A dream realized through hard work and perseverance. Katon's Kitchen All Events & Catering has been open since 2010 as a fully functional catering business and has plans to expand in 2016 and beyond. The business services contract caterings, business luncheons, corporate events, wedding receptions and much more.
